Minister for Education to attend meeting of ASEAN

Ministers of Education

19 August 2005, Bangkok, Thailand   

 

 

1                     Minister for Education, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be attending a meeting of ASEAN Ministers of Education in Bangkok, Thailand on 19 August 2005.  He will be accompanied on the trip by officials from the Ministry of Education.

 

2                     The meeting will allow the Ministers to exchange views on education issues and discuss ways to foster closer ASEAN cooperation in education.
