Programmes for High-ability Learners

The Gifted Education Branch organises enrichment activities targeted at mainstream pupils with high ability in English Language, Mathematics and Science.

English Language

The programmes for enriching the learning of high-ability pupils in English Language that will be organised are:

• National Spelling Championship from February to June
• Inter-school Debate Competition from February to June
• Creative Arts Programme (Primary) in September

The programmes for enriching the learning of high-ability pupils in Mathematics and Science are:

• Primary Mathematics Project Competition from February to July
• Mathematics Exploration Day in March
• P4 Science Carnival in June
