New Pre-school Initiatives

4 Mar 2008 — The Government has introduced two new measures to further improve the quality of pre-school education. From January 2009, MOE will raise the minimum academic qualifications of pre-school teachers. A voluntary quality assurance and accreditation framework for pre-schools will also be introduced from 2011. These measures were announced by Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Education) Mr Masagos Zulkifli on 4 March 2008 at the Committee of Supplies Debate in Parliament.
