JAE Registation Phase
This phase is for candidates to apply for their JAE courses (JC/MI/Poly/ITE courses) after the release of the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results.
Candidates are advised to make full use of the 12 choices, where applicable.
For Candidates with 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination Results [ Toggle ]
The following candidates with 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results will receive a personalised JAE Form A on the day of the official announcement of the GCE ‘O’ Level results release
School Candidates [ Toggle ]
School Candidates studying in Government, Government-Aided, or Independent School with 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results and are eligible for JC/MI/Poly/ITE courses will receive a personalised JAE Form A from their secondary school.
Private Candidates [ Toggle ]
Private Candidates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results and are eligible for JC/MI/Poly/ITE courses will receive a personalised JAE Form A through the mail at their residential address (based on their examination registration records).
The JAE Form A contains candidate’s examination results, with all the courses that he/she is eligible to apply for under JAE and a JAE Pin (a unique password to access JAE-IS to apply for courses). Candidate’s courses eligibility are generally based on examination results achieved at the:
- 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination only, or
- A combination of one past year and 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination
For Candidates Without 2011 Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination Results [ Toggle ]
Candidates who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations results from other years, are eligible to participate in JAE.
To apply for JAE courses through JAE-IS, candidates will need a valid SingPass.

Application of JAE Courses
There are two ways to apply for JAE Courses
Online via JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) [ Toggle ]
Applicants can submit their JAE course choices online via the JAE-IS using either the JAE PIN (found in JAE Form A) or a valid SingPass. The JAE-IS is accessible 24 hours starting from 3.00 pm on the first day of registration until 4.00 pm on the last day of registration.
Applicants should print and retain a copy of the Verification Slip (VS) after submitting the course choices on the JAE-IS. If you are unable to view the VS page, your application may not have been successfully submitted. In such cases, logon to the JAE-IS again to confirm the status of your application.

In Person at Customer Service Centre, Ministry of Education (MOE-CSC) [ Toggle ]
Applicants or their appointed proxy may apply for JAE courses at the MOE-CSC during the JAE Registration period.
Applicants are required to bring along their original identity card, original GCE ‘O’ Level Examination certificate(s)/result slip(s) and Secondary School report book and/or CCA Certificate(s).
The appointed proxy must be aged 21 and above and are required to produce the following documents for verification when registering at MOE-CSC
- Completed Proxy Form
- Appointed proxy’s original NRIC
- Candidate’s original NRIC or Birth Certificate or Student Pass or Passport
- Candidate’s original Singapore Cambridge GCE ‘O’ level Certificate(s) or Result Slip(s)
- Candidate’s original Secondary School’s Report Book or CCA Certificate(s)
