Teaching Scholarships & Awards – Overview
To make a difference, you have to first be the difference. Be a teaching scholar.
What happens if you don’t take up a teaching scholarship?
For starters, you will not have your tuition fees paid for when you study at top universities around the world. You will not get a head-start in your career through attachments to schools and MOE Headquarters. You will not get the chance to take on challenging projects, interact with top policy-makers, or visit overseas schools. Most of all, you will miss the opportunity to share your love for learning with an entire generation of thinkers and leaders.
All this is not true, of course. It’s what we call a logical fallacy.
As a Teaching Scholar, you get the opportunity to teach young minds to spot deceptive arguments like this, and to navigate the obstacles and challenges that they may face in future.
