2009 PSLE Results Released
The results of the 2009 Primary School Leaving Examination have been released. This year, 47,117 pupils (or 97.1%) are assessed as suitable to proceed to secondary school.
Nationally Recognised Vocational Certification for Special Education Students
Two Special Education Schools, Metta School and Delta Senior School, from 2010, will offer accredited vocational educational programmes leading to nationally recognized certification. This was announced by Senior Minister of State for Education, Ms Grace Fu, at Delta Senior School's Graduation Day today.
MM Lee Declares Singapore Centre for Chinese Language Officially Open
Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew officiated at the opening of the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL). In conjunction with its official opening, SCCL organised its first international conference on Teaching and Learning of Chinese as a Second Language.
MOE Provides More Support for Special Education Educators and Schools
New measures to enhance Special Education schools in Singapore were announced at the MOE-NCSS Special Awards Ceremony by Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for Education.
